Colored Waterfalls

Limón Indanza, Morona Santiago

Description

The Colored Waterfalls are a unique natural attraction in the Amazon, known for the reddish tone of its waters and rocks. This color is due to the natural presence of minerals, especially iron oxides, which stain the water upon contact with oxygen, creating a different and striking landscape for hiking, photography and nature observation.

It is recommended to wear clothing to prevent getting wet and hiking shoes or rubber boots to travel the trails and wet areas more safely.
