Wachirpas Community

The Wachirpas community is an Achuar community tourism destination in the heart of the Amazon. The experience begins with a small plane flight from Taisha for approximately 25 minutes. Upon arrival, the community welcomes visitors with traditional greetings, typical cuisine and chicha. During your stay you can go on hikes, visit a nearby waterfall, enjoy the viewpoint of the Pastaza River, camp and participate in rituals such as the guayusa and conversation spaces of the chiefs, in addition to listening to the women's song, an ancient farewell ritual.

To get there it is necessary to travel by small plane and it is recommended to bring repellent. The experience offers a deep immersion in the Achuar culture, in a secluded and authentic natural environment.
