Description

Located in Sucúa, the Gonsha Museum was created by the artisan Gonzalo Rubio and brings together a valuable collection of archaeological pieces and historical objects. Remnants of the Upano culture stand out, with ceramics more than 2,500 years old, mortars, funerary vessels and stone tools. You will also find pieces from the Cañari and Valdivia cultures, fossils, minerals and the Nautilus, the most important marine fossil found in Morona Santiago. The tour includes a personalized guide from the museum's creator, who shares stories and details about each piece.
