Sor María Troncatti Museum
Description
Located next to the parish church of Sucúa, this museum pays tribute to the Salesian missionary Sister María Troncatti, who dedicated her life to serving the Shuar peoples and the Amazon community.
The exhibition includes photographs, personal objects and historical pieces distributed in a two-story wooden house. The first shows his life and mission, and the second, his accident, beatification and period objects.
The museum strengthens local identity and preserves the legacy of a woman remembered for her dedication and service.
